All work related to the NTT and GTT legacy node migration has now been completed. All affected nodes are operating normally, and both the promised bandwidth upgrades for existing customers and compensation related to the 192.*.35.* node have been completed.
Bandwidth Upgrade for Existing Customers
Bandwidth for all existing customers has been upgraded free of charge to our latest plan specifications:
Lite: 100 Mbps
Basic: 125 Mbps
Pro: 150 Mbps
Ultra: 200 Mbps
This upgrade does not change existing IP addresses, VPS data, or billing cycles. Existing renewal pricing will remain unchanged unless the customer voluntarily changes the billing cycle. No price adjustment will be made solely because of this free bandwidth upgrade.
192.*.35.* Hardware Issue and Compensation
The hardware memory issue previously affecting the 192.*.35.* node has been fully resolved. The faulty memory has been replaced, and the node and all related VPS instances are currently operating normally. A 7-day service extension has been applied to users affected by the hardware failure.
Following the repair, we also inspected our other host servers and found no similar memory or hardware issues. A follow-up hardware inspection is planned in the coming weeks to further confirm the long-term stability of the new nodes.
We sincerely apologize for the additional reboots and service disruption caused by this hardware failure, and we appreciate your patience throughout the migration and repair process.
Regarding Recent U.S. West Coast Network Fluctuations to China
We continue to observe intermittent fluctuations on some U.S. West Coast routes to China. Our investigation indicates that the primary cause is an equipment failure on China Unicom's side. This issue is unrelated to the VPS migration, the new node hardware, or customer VPS instances, and the affected equipment is outside our direct control.
When the primary China Unicom connection becomes unstable, we redirect traffic through alternative China Unicom routes to maintain overall service availability. Brief latency changes, packet loss, or connectivity fluctuations may occur during these routing changes, but the alternative paths allow us to avoid continuously using the affected connection.
The issue has been formally reported to the carrier and we are continuing to follow up. Until China Unicom confirms that the affected equipment has been fully repaired and stable, we will continue to use alternative routing where necessary. As the affected equipment is maintained by China Unicom, the final repair timeline is outside our direct control and depends on the carrier's progress.
Thank you for your business,
