Host upgrades and most migration work on our Los Angeles Cogent (formerly CG International Bandwidth, LAX-BGP) nodes have been successfully completed. Only one legacy server remains to be migrated.
The migration was previously postponed because our provider had not prepared the required hardware in time. We have now rescheduled it for the following maintenance window:
Maintenance Window: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Toronto Time, EDT)
Migration Plan & Expected Impact
- Only the 38.127.*.* IP range will be affected. Maintenance for all other LAX-BGP services has been completed, with no further downtime scheduled as part of this maintenance.
- We will prioritize live migration wherever possible, moving VPS instances individually rather than taking all services offline simultaneously.
- Expected downtime is approximately 1–5 minutes per VPS to minimize service disruption.
Complimentary Bandwidth Upgrade
Our complimentary bandwidth upgrade remains unchanged. Once the migration is complete, all LAX-BGP customers will receive 1–2 Gbps bandwidth at no additional cost, with pricing unchanged for both new and existing customers.
