We will begin migrating all NTT legacy VPS instances with IPs beginning with 192 and all GTT legacy VPS instances with IPs beginning with 216 at 12:00 PM EDT on August 12, with an approximately 6-hour maintenance window. VPS instances will be migrated individually and may experience reboots or brief network interruptions during the process.

IP addresses, operating systems and VPS data will remain unchanged. The new nodes feature Intel Xeon Gold processors and more secure and reliable storage arrays. After migration, existing customers will receive a free bandwidth upgrade to match the latest plan specifications on our website. Existing renewal pricing will remain unchanged unless the billing cycle is changed.

UPDATE | August 12, 6:00 PM EDT

Approximately half of the VPS migrations had been completed by 6:00 PM EDT. As the migration process was still actively running and could not be paused midway, the remaining VPS instances were expected to be completed by 12:00 AM EDT on August 13 at the latest.

The extended maintenance window did not mean VPS instances would remain offline throughout the entire period. Each VPS was migrated individually and was expected to experience approximately 10 minutes of downtime only when its migration began. IP addresses and data remained unchanged.

UPDATE | August 13, 12:00 AM EDT

All VPS migrations were completed. One node serving the 192.*.35.* range was found to have a hardware memory issue, and VPS instances on this range could experience several additional reboots while repairs were completed.

All other ranges had fully completed migration and returned to normal operation. Repair of the affected node, compensation for affected users, and the planned bandwidth upgrades were scheduled for completion by August 14.

UPDATE | August 13, 12:00 PM EDT

The faulty memory on the 192.*.35.* node has now been replaced and recovery monitoring has been completed. All affected nodes and related VPS instances are operating normally, and the migration and hardware repair process is now fully complete.

A 7-day service extension will be applied on August 14 to users affected by the hardware failure on the 192.*.35.* range. The previously announced free bandwidth upgrade will also be completed, bringing existing plans in line with the latest bandwidth speeds listed on our website. IP addresses and VPS data will remain unchanged.

Separately, the intermittent network issues currently observed on some U.S. West Coast return routes to China are unrelated to this migration. Initial investigation indicates a hardware line-card failure on China Unicom's side. The issue has been reported to the carrier, and traffic has been temporarily rerouted through other points of presence while stability is monitored.
