We are currently observing an issue with upstream routing equipment affecting the Cox network. BGP sessions and routes are repeatedly dropping and recovering, which may result in brief outages, packet loss, or unstable connectivity for some VPS instances.
The upstream provider has confirmed the issue, and on-site technicians have been dispatched to inspect the affected routing equipment. The incident is currently isolated to the network routing layer and will not change VPS IP addresses or existing data. Until the issue is fully resolved, connectivity may continue to fluctuate as routes recover and drop intermittently.
The upstream provider currently expects the issue to be resolved within approximately one hour. We will continue following the on-site investigation and monitor network stability after service is restored before marking the incident as resolved.
Once the incident has been fully resolved, we will also provide appropriate service-time compensation to affected users based on the actual impact.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while the issue is being resolved.
Thank you for your business,
