Our new 216 range GTT Dual ISP Residential IP China-Optimized product line is now live. Ping0 currently detects it as residential (as this platform’s detection changes frequently, we cannot guarantee it will continue to show as residential in the future; please refer to the status at the time of purchase and ipinfo.io), with excellent IP quality and CMIN2&9929 optimized return routes for all three major China networks. Due to the higher cost, pricing is slightly higher than Cogent. It is suitable for individual users who want a direct, ready-to-use solution without extra setup. The starting price is CAD 6.99 (about RMB 35), and prices may be adjusted upward later based on demand.
The Cogent Dual ISP Residential IP product line will launch a new niche IP range next week (not the main 38.x range), and a new Lite plan will also be added, with the starting price reduced to CAD 5.99 (about ¥30). Going forward, we will no longer include acceleration service for the Cogent product line. Existing related services will not be affected. This route offers highly cost-effective large traffic allocations and strong international bandwidth, with no China mainland optimization. It is suitable for enterprise users with their own routes, as well as global e-commerce users in Southeast Asia and other regions.
Because the starting price has been reduced, the compensation plan for existing users is as follows:
- For existing Cogent users, Basic bandwidth will be upgraded to 300Mbps for free, and Pro bandwidth will be upgraded to 400Mbps for free.
- Traffic is doubled (original 1TB->2TB, original 2TB->4TB), with the renewal price unchanged. This free upgrade has already been applied automatically, and no action is required from you.
